Tentrem Bus Releases Avante MultiClass, Four Classes in One Bus (by Haltebus.com)

Indonesian-based bus manufacturer PT Tentrem Sejahtera (Tentrem Bus) has made a breakthrough with the Avante Multiclass in collaboration with PT Restu Mulya Mandiri (Restu Mulya). The Denpasar, Bali-based bus company has built the Avante H8 MultiClass bus at Tentrem Bodyworks, featuring four different classes.

For the first time, the Malang-based bodyworks unveiled the latest creation, a collaboration with its customer, on Saturday (January 31, 2026).

"We want to maximize the design of our premium bus, the Avante, to meet customer needs. Customer ideas are not only a challenge for us, but also part of our learning curve in understanding bus needs in Indonesia," said Tentrem Bus Managing Director, Yohan Wahyudi, to haltebus.com.
Restu Mulya's bus offers four classes with different seating configurations. There are two Grand Captain seats in the front, executive class seats in some of the passenger cabins, and some passenger cabins are designed with semi-reclining seats. There is a private cabin at the rear. complementing the variety of customer services.
According to Yohan, the Avante MultiClass they previously designed had a three-class configuration. Grand Captain seats were in the front, executive seats in the middle, and the rear was mostly made up of semi-reclining seats, often called sleepers.
Maximizing cabin space, Yohan said, is key to making the Avante flexible for bus companies. This is a hallmark of the Avante model's design. According to Yohan, every centimeter, every angle, and every dimension is precisely calculated, ensuring a comfortable cabin and the seats are positioned just right.
"Ultimately, everything we create boils down to passenger comfort. Providing a unique experience, a memorable journey, across all roads in Indonesia is Karoseri Tentrem's big dream," he said. (photo: Tentrem Bus)
