The meeting, held in Shah Alam, Selangor, was called MAN BAGUS and celebrated the German manufacturer's success in 2025, and also marked the signing of a contract for the purchase of up to 137 bus chassis for this year.
"This event provided a great opportunity to reconnect with our partners, share the latest information on the MAN RR3 and RR5 chassis, and highlight how MAN continues to support the Malaysian bus industry with efficient and sustainable fleet solutions," read a statement from MAN Truck & Bus Malaysia on its social media pages.
The meeting was attended by Friedrich Baumann, Member of the Executive Board at MAN Truck & Bus SE - Head of Sales & Customer Solutions, and Thomas Hemmerich, Head of Sales Area International. Both MAN Truck & Bus officials were accompanied by Marc Appelt, Managing Director of MAN Truck & Bus Malaysia.

"The highlight of the event was the signing of a special order for 137 units ordered by 12 customers. This extraordinary display of trust reflects the industry's confidence in MAN's products, performance, and after-sales support. We were also delighted to hear operators, drivers, and passengers praise the power, comfort, and quiet ride of our MAN RR5 Euro V buses," MAN stated.
